Research Internships

ECIM offers research internships and thesis opportunities for doctoral, master and undergraduate students  from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile as well as from other Chilean and foreign universities.

Researchers  from the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the Pontificia supervise graduate and  undergraduate thesis and research seminars. Interested students must contact Dr. Evie A. Wieters, coordinator or research internships at ECIM, explaining your interest, type of  internship and area. Academic credits for this activity depend on the specific case of the student and the existence of institutional agreements.

Once accepted for the internship, ECIM provides housing and  access to kitchen facilities at the low cost reserved for PUC students. Unfortunately, there are no fellowships in ECIM to support these internships and therefore either the students or the professor in charge must be able to afford these costs.
